CDS Picture It is a national level non governmental and non profit organization, works for the human and socio economic development of the urban and rural underprivileged people of Bangladesh and for the establishment of their basic rights in the society. CDS effects such development by:

Implementing projects that benefit underprivileged people giving priority to women/ adolescent girls and children;
Providing support and networking services to local partner organizations;
Offering volunteer and leadership development;

CDS strives to be an effective, independent and self-reliant organization that works both nationally, with a strong network of local partner organizations, as well as locally through direct projects implementation. CDS also seeks to develop and share experiences, findings, skills and dialogues with like-minded organizations at the international level. One of its goals is to assist struggling development associations to mature into self-standing organizations capable of working directly with national and international support bodies.
